• View people as the person that they wish to be, and help them to realize that version of themselves
• Lead from the front line; there is no better way to inspire action and understand reality
• Give praise generously, and take blame for failures
• Fix problems; not blame
• You get what you measure
• Lead people, manage resources
• Praise in public, give development feedback in private, and don’t speak negatively of others
